Jokin aika sitten värjäämästäni pupulangasta (100% angorapupu) on tulossa Haruni helmillä varustettuna... Niin paljon helmiä... huhhuh.

Aamiaiseksi tehtailtuja silmukkamerkkejä.
Näitä kuluu kun aina on neuleita kesken ympäri kämppää... Yleensä tilaan noita ETSYstä, mutta nyt tuli kiire, ei ehdi odottaa postimiestä. Muutama vuosi sitten kun kudoin ensimmäisen pitsihuivin ajattelin, että siinä se nyt on. Minulla on huivi. Vähänpä tiesin silloin millainen pino niitä on parin vuoden päästä. Mikähän on tilanne 10 vuoden kuluttua?

I use a lot of those because there is always several half done knittings hanging around the house... Usually I order those from ETSY but now there is not enough time to wait for the mailman. A few years ago when I knitted my first lace scarf I thought that now I have it, a lace scarf. Little did I know about the pile of lace scarfs that I would have a few years later. I wonder how will it be in a 10 years time?

Löysin Raverlystä hassun ryhmän, joka kutoo Stephen Westin Herbivore-huivia suomalaisen ILUn langoista. Koska minullakin noita lankoja jonkin verran on, päätin heti oitis liittyä kööriin. Tosin en ole vielä keksinyt miten ryhmään kirjaudutaan...

I found this funny group in Raverly that knits Stephen Wests Herbivore-shawl from ILUs yarn. Ilu is a Finnish dyer. Because I happen to have some of Ilus yarn I decided to join the chorus. I just have not yet found out how to join the group...

Olen alkanut tuntea vetoa väreihin, jotka kauan kauan ovat olleet poissa (päästäni= siis sisäpuolelta)

Pupulankaa - Bunny yarn

Yrmeät olennot oikealta vasemmalle. Sylvi, joka ei vielä tiedä onko raskaana vai ei, mutta väsyttää kovasti... Eikä hän pidä vasemman puoleisesta olennosta.
Vasemmalla on 800 m pupulankaa, 100% angorajänistä. Just niin pehmoista...
Onnistuin värjäämään sen tuollaiseksi sellerin väriseksi.
Viikkoja olen yrittänyt saada tuota väriä aikaiseksi ja nyt se tuli. Tosin yritin tällä kertaa kirkasta ruohonvihreää aniliineilla täplillä....:D
Kaikesta käyttämästäni etikasta huolimatta aniliini väri (toDELla voimakas) peseytyi täysin pois??? Johtunee pupuproteiineista? Lammas ei ikinä käyttyätyisi noin, luulen. Nykyään en enää ole varma mistään....

On the left 800 m of 100% angora bunny yarn. So very soft...
I managed to dye it in to that celery shade. I have tried to get that color for weeks and now I got it. Actually I was aiming to a bright grass green with aniline spots... :D
Regardless of all the vinegar I used the aniline (reALly bright) washed all away??? Must be the bunny proteins? Sheep wool would never act like that, I think. I am not sure about anything any more....
